Black Freedom Fellowship curated 6 invite-only residencies for artist-activists living in the United States and Brazil.

Our goal with this residency was to demonstrate the power of rest, liberated educational exchange and Afro-Indigenous Genius by connecting artists with communities, opportunities, and resources that support the development of projects of their choice.

Artists participated in sessions with artists and/or activists that matched their project focus, visited the historic city of Cachoeira, Bahia, Brazil, and connected with the local community all with the intention of understanding and exchanging tools for building a liberatory future.
